Pedro Belenbauza Yamada is the husband of Joanna Belenbauza Yamada, the father of Maria Belenbauza Yamada & Gabriel Belenbauza Yamada, and was Hatchin's adoptive father and works as a priest. He was shown to be a uncaring and cruel father as shown in the 1st episode as to when he freely dropped Hana's breakfast food when knowing that she was trying to hide the burned part of the omelette and saying that "We don't raise our children to hide their mistakes", and cruelly made Hana recook their food again. He was also shown to be manipulative to Hana as he wanted her to believe that everything he does for her is for the best of her when in reality he treats her like a slave.
Later, in the 2nd episode, he was also shown to chase Hana around town to kill her in order to get the insurance money.
